Service Description

*First session/ Initial Appointment is designed to allow us to get to know each other and allow me the opportunity to look through your health history and identify patterns and correlations in your past and current health challenges. Using this information, I will introduce you to the possibilities of kinesiology and educate you about the patterns I am seeing so that you can take more control. At the end of the session I will make an ongoing care recommendation, based on the imbalances we identify. There is also some balancing done during the session, however it is not solely balance focused like follow up appointments are. What is Kinesiology? Kinesiology is a complimentary health modality combining muscle testing and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Sciences. It assesses imbalances in the body’s structural (physical), bio-chemical (nutrition), emotional (psyche), mental (mind/Brain function) and Meridian/Auric (Energetic) systems which helps to not only map out some form of cause to the issue(s), but also assist in giving an answer on ways to help relieve the stress within the body (holding certain acupressure points as an example). It is a non-invasive and gentle approach that can be used as a tool to assist in a wide range of ailments from feeling overwhelmed/stressed to poor sleep to poor posture and pain to nutritional and digestive disfunctions to behavioral and/or co-ordination issues, just to name a few. A kinesiologist does not do any form of diagnosing or fixing. It is merely a holistic approach to give the client some feedback about what may be going on within their bodies (mental. physical, emotional, energetic) and assisting them on their path to healing and self-empowerment.
